Engraving Materials
Stainless Steel
We use a marine grade stainless which is very hard wearing and low maintenance. It can be laser engraved for commemorative plaques and machine labels or panels, where routed holes or slots are NOT needed. We have our own facilities to cut and finish the stainless blanks, to the high standards we demand.
Brass
Gives a very traditional finish. It does require regular polishing to maintain the high quality gloss seen at delivery.
Better Than Brass
Better Than Brass signs look as good as a standard brass plaque but are made from a specially treated material that won’t tarnish.
Aluminium
We can supply in original or various anodised finishes. Used for rotary engraving where a specialist look is required.
Traffolyte / Laminate
We use a huge variety of colours and types of laminate (sometimes known as traffolyte), including metal effects. This material can be laser or rotary engraved, with holes and slots routed to your requirements.
LaserMax
LaserMax offers a durable, matte finish. UV stable colour foils and enhanced heat tolerance make LaserMax a great choice for any two colour engraving projects.
