Photoluminescent Material (glow in the dark)

The Technical Bit (Made Simple)

Let’s talk regulations (briefly, we promise).

All Safety Way Guidance Systems need to meet the BS EN 16069 standard. It sounds technical, but it essentially ensures your signs are designed, installed, and perform perfectly whether they are electrical or glow-in-the-dark. The beauty of these systems? They speak a universal language that keeps everyone safe, regardless of culture.

To strictly follow ISO 16069, you need Class C photoluminescent material at a minimum.

The good news? We’ve got this.

At Viking Signs, we don’t mess around with "almost compliant."

  • Class C Standard: Every single piece of photoluminescent material we use is Class C (BS EN 16069) as standard.
  • Correct Symbols: We strictly use symbols that comply with BS EN 7010.

No guesswork, no stress. just high-quality, UK-made safety that’s ready to do its job.
